between an QSFP to XFP Cable optics module

Common direct attach cables include SFP cables, SFP+ cables, QSFP to XFP Cable, QSFP+ cables, MIni SAS cables, CX4 cables. These direct attach cables can meet the ever growing need to cost-effectively deliver more bandwidth, and they can be customized in different length to meet your requirement
The nitty gritty details between an XFP optics module and an SFP+ optics module are fairly straight forward.  For QSFP to XFP Cable, on the transmit side of things, the optics module standard provided additional signal conditioning before  For SFP, there is no additional signal conditioning provided in the module specification.  Essentially, with the interface to SFP modules (called the SFI interface), the signaling requirements are very much more strict then the signaling required from XFI interfaces to the QSFP to XFP Cable modules. On the receive side, there is a similar need in XFP modules for signal retiming that is no longer required in SFP+ modules.
