SFP BiDirectional (BiDi) optical transceivers utilize innovative wavelength division and packaging technology to transmit and receive optical signals through only one single fiber (single mode or multimode). SFP BIDI Transceiver is a high performance, cost effective module, which is compliant with LC/SC Optics interface with built in WDM for Bi-Directional serial optical data communication applications and Standard AC coupled CML for high speed signal and LVTTL control and monitor signals. The deployment of BiDi optical transceivers instantly doubles the bandwidth capacity of the existing optical fiber infrastructure. Our SFP BiDi  TX1310/RX1490NM 2KM optical transceivers also comply with Small Form Pluggable (SFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). SC connector interface is also available upon special request.

Without your specify, we will make Cisco Compatible as default compatible brand.BERT generated a 1G Ethernet Signal, the BIDI transceiver coupled it to multimode link OpixCom’s SFP BiDirectional with 1310nm and carried it to the other SFP BiDi . Then, the incoming signal inside the flexBox loop was sent to the transmitter of the same BIDI and in turn, was sent through the same fibres with 1550nm back to BERT.  This allowed us to analyse if the sent Bit Pattern corresponded to that of the received one.  This worked well up to a distance of 320m.  Over larger distances we ended up with bit failure rates.
